Toro 51599 Ultra Leaf Vacuum Blower Reviews
The Toro 51599 Ultra Leaf Vacuum Blower had so many reviews (close to 900) that we actually could not read them all. After reading through a good chunk of them, it was clear what the general consensus of this product was – This is an excellent tool. Roughly 90% of those 900 reviews were very satisfied customers. Normally many unsatisfied customers come back to leave reviews of products, so when that many people come back to leave excellent reviews it tells you that Toro has done well with this unit.
Many consumers commented on the high air speed this blower was capable of delivering, with a handful of people mentioning it was more powerful than gasoline powered blowers they had previously owned. One customer went so far to say it could ‘suck the ball off a trailer hitch’ when trying to make a point in how powerful this tool can be.
Many props were also given to the impeller blade, which a lot of consumers seemed to think was steel because it was so rugged, when in fact it is a lightweight yet strong magnesium alloy blade. Plastic impellers are common in inexpensive leaf blowers, and many of them end up broken as soon as a small rock or hard debris comes into contact with it, which some of these reviewers claimed to experience with previous blowers they had owned. They had nothing but good things to say about the durability of the impeller in this tool.
This specific leaf blower has built quite a reputation for itself leaving customers of all types highly satisfied with this product. From the neighbor next door to the professional landscaper, this unit seemed to get nothing but appraisal from hundreds of people. We simply could not find another blower that could match the ratings and raving reviews this blower was receiving, thus we are giving the Toro 51599 Ultra electric leaf blower our

The Black & Decker Leaf Blower BV2500 can be used to clean up your deck, driveways, sidewalks, as well as your lawn. It features a powerful 12 Amp electric motor and weighs just over 7lbs, allowing for extended periods of use. The BV2500 is also claimed to be quiet enough to be used at any time.
Converting from a blower to a vacuum is very easy to do with this leaf blower, simply press the button to remove the blowing unit, and attach the vacuum extension with the included bag. This Black & Decker leaf blower also features a patented Vortex anticlog system, allowing it to remain unclogged better than many other leaf blowers. Caution should still be taken to avoid rocks or thick sticks, however.
Perhaps the best feature on this unit is the variable speed option, allowing the user to adjust between 150-200mph blowing speed, which should be enough to handle most jobs. The BV2500 is said to be able to condense 10 bags of leaves into a single bag – not the best claim we’ve seen from a blower, but impressive none the less.

Black & Decker BV2500 Leaf Blower Reviews
We were able to dig through almost 150 reviews of the BV2500 online, and are surprised to report that less than 50% of the consumers report being very satisfied with this product. To our surprise, just over 40% were disappointed with this leaf blower, while roughly 9% remained neutral.
Before I cover the common complaints, let us quickly go over the good things consumers had to say about the BV2500 electric leaf blower. Many consumers reported this blower to have plenty of blowing and vacuuming power, making quick work of leaves and other debris. Another selling point for this tool was the price, many people felt this unit was priced competitively and much better than other electric leaf blowers.
There are definitely a couple of common complaints we picked out after reading through these reviews. The biggest problem being reported was that the electric motor seems to wear out and die rather quickly. Numerous reviewers reported a dead or smoking motor after light-moderate usage, with a handful of people even claiming they are on the 2nd or 3rd replacement BV2500 – at least Black and Decker seems to be replacing these units.
Another common complaint was in regards to the plastic impeller blade wearing down, greatly reducing the overall effectiveness of the tool. One consumer reported a straw-sized twig caught rubbing against the impeller caused enough friction to melt away part of the plastic impeller, stating this caused the blower to be much less effective after this problem.
There were various other minor issues reported with this unit as well, however, they were not a common occurrence as with the above problems. Although this tool has served well for some people, due to the large volume of consumer complaints on this unit, we, unfortunately, cannot give the Black & Decker BV2500 Electric Leaf Blower our seal of approval.
