Black and Decker LH4500 Reviews
We were able to find over 60 reviews for this product online, and the overall outlook of these reviews was generally good, with roughly 77% of the reviews from very satisfied customers. There were a good amount of comments in regards to the blowing and vacuuming power of the LH4500. Many consumers reported it could handle large amounts of leaves (wet or dry) and small twigs easily due to the metal impeller. There were also hardly any complaints of clogging with this unit, which seems to be a typical problem amongst electric leaf blowers.
There were a few neutral and negative reviews for the B&D LH4500, but that is to be expected of any product with a large number of reviews. There were not any particular major complaints with this leaf blower, however we noticed that a couple of things were mentioned a few times throughout reading these reviews.
A few owners reported that the collection bag that comes with the leaf hog can be easily ripped or torn. This however can likely be prevented by emptying the bag and not pushing it to its limits on capacity. Additionally, several consumers had stated this blower is extremely noisy, contrary to what Black and Decker advertises. Noise is not really a performance issue, and we find it hard to believe it could be near as noisy as a gas powered leaf blower. If noise is an issue, a good pair of ear muffs would make for a good investment for any noisy tools.
